Giving Thanks

This Thanksgiving we are thankful to our more than 400 partner organizations and the over 350,000 individuals who have sent comments to the Food and Drug Administration as part of the Just Label It campaign.

Since launching in early October, we’ve had a record response in asking the FDA to label genetically engineered food.

We’re also thankful to be included in a special Thanksgiving list compiled by New York Times columnist Mark Bittman of powerful groups and individuals working to make a difference in the food movement.

In addition, Stonyfield Farm CE-Yo Gary Hirshberg and author and filmmaker Eric Schlosser have written a great piece in the San Francisco Chronicle with their opinion piece on why we all have a right to know what we’re eating.
